I feel embarrassed to ask this, I feel I should know better my own bodily functions (I should have listened in school)

don't be so hard on yourself. i had a heck of a hard time coming up with the right words to tell my B.I. doc & nurse that my face felt really warm at times. (i had to explain many times that no i was not running a fever.....)

it was like many many weeks later when i came across the 'right term' -> flushing
Thanks for this!

I'm not a doctor but... Sounds like maybe GIRD? Gastrointestinal reflux disorder? Anytime your stomach acid comes up into the asophagus it will burn. It is basically vommiting.
