I have the flu. Does anyone else have it now? What are you taking for it. Is it worth it to go to the doctor?

Oh I feel for you. I just got over it! I was out of work for one week.

All I can say is rest, drink TONS of fluids like gadorade and water, and try some jello and ice pops.

It's hard...feel better soon! Anyone else got the flu? Anyone else got the flu? Anyone else got the flu?

Hey Buffy
If you do have the flu and you get to the doctor within the first 48 hours they can give you a prescription for medication that will shorten the length that you have to suffer with the flu - I think it is called Tamiflu - spelling is off

Buffy,
Several people I know have had the flu. Emergen-C has been helpful for me, I buy it at Wal Mart and keep in on hand.

I have home grown and home made herbal remedies to use as needed too. Most grocery stores carry a line of herbal teas with some being recommended for relieving cold or flu symptoms.

A pot of homemade chicken soup is beginning to sound good so I may move in that direction.... Anyone else got the flu?

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Thanks. This is the first day I think I don't feel like I"m going to die. I just started the zicam nose swabs. maybe that will help.
