i've been gifted with a rather persistent infection. over the past month, i've tried like four medicines that havent worked in the end

im currently taking gynophilus which are vaginal capsules that are supposed to restore your flora and put things in balance, but i think im doing it wrong?

for some reason i decided to do 1 daily for two weeks rather than 2 a day for 7 days and im scared if itll work. my period's supposed to come soon so i'd have to stop treatment until its over.
also, this medicine is the only one thats worked so far but its effects are weakening and im on the second week of it if that helps.

basically, i just don't know what i should do? the infection isnt completely gone yet and i havent got enough medicine to properly restart again, and it's harder to get hold of than other medicines.

I've found inserted clotrimazole/Canestan capsules as well as outer cream has worked for me in the past.

You may want to look at your diet and switch to eating more alkaline (as opposed to acidic) foods. If you have too much sugar and your system is acidic then that's a perfect breeding ground for yeast (candida albicans).

Here is a food chart to use as a guide to balance your pH levels:
