Tested negative for covid, had my flu shot.

Been losing weight despite binging (though I have been purging after, but usually when I'm in a bulimic relapse I stay steady or gain a little weight), but yeah I lost 9 pounds, stomach hurts, achy, nauseous, tired (and can't sleep, but I attribute this to being towards the end of withdrawal), my poop is kinda light colored, no matter how much water I drink my urine looks like I'm dehydrated, and chills.

Ideas? I don't want to see a doc unless it won't go away on its own.

@MuddyBoots I am sorry you have been having symptoms of feeling sick the last month.

Binging and purging usually means you get very little nutrition and so the large weight loss. Grazing is a surer way to get nutrition, having small healthy snacks or meals when hungry and not purging.

Purging also brings up acid from the stomach that can make your throat sore and also degrades the enamel on the teeth.

Another problem with purging is it robs the body of the liquid contained in the food which can lead to dehydration.

Hope you find ways to modify your recent behavior so the body can be healthy and you can feel well. @CANDC

My first thought is to get checked out for a UTI - chills and concentrated urine sound like a possibility. I know you don’t want to see a Dr, can you get either a self test or tested via a pharmacy?

So my therapy visit yesterday turned into a dr's visit (they were worried I had scabies?? that was the main reason for sending me, anyway) and I brought all this up and apparently I have jaundice too so they're sending me for blood work today (they did take a urine sample). Their worry is something like pancreatitis or hepatitis.

Doc's office called, said there were abnormal findings, and wants me to go down today to discuss. Leaving in a bit.

They gave me a feeding tube too because I was pretty overall malnourished and refused to eat.
