how would you go about choosing a medical power of attorney?
. [ or whatever it may be called - someone to make medical decisions for you IF you are unable to ]

-> especially if you are not married and don't have children

I also am not married and have no children. Plus I don't have any first cousins or anyone around... I'm the last of the line.

Do you have any close relatives who are competant, compassionate, reliable?

Do you have a best friend? My great aunts medical power of attorney was her best friend.
