I've had an itchy rash on my ankles for the past three weeks. In the last week my ankles started swelling at times but not the usual kind of swelling. It looks like an egg on the front of my ankle and it itches even worse when that happens. Has anyone got an idea of what might be causing this or what it is called?

Could it be fleas? Its an odd time of year for fleabites though.

do you get relief if you put your legs up for several hours?

i think any place where fluid is retained can be itchy.

I hope you are going to have this looked at, dear Ozzie.

I would advise getting it examined by a physician.
