i went to the dentist today for the first time ever. i never been before when i was a kid or anything. i was real embarassed to go cause i got some missing teeth and it just plain ain't to good in there but i went cause i don't want to be embarassed of talking to people anymore and i think hopefully it won't mess up the way i talk as much anymore. so i found out i got five missing ones and he gotta pull another one and i got a cavity in just about every tooth almost but i'm gonna get some fake ones for the ones that are missing. i'm so happy i'm finally gonna do it

Oh, good, sounds like you found a dentist you like/can work with? Yes, I went in to a new dentist once when I hadn't been for awhile and said, "I'm a dentist's dream" because all my teeth were breaking and there where things needing fixing. Fortunately I was taken to the dentist regularly coming up so don't have any problem going regularly now.

You must be very brave, going to the dentist. I have always been terrified of the dentist, my teeth got so bad I had to have them all pulled and I still need to go get my false ones made.

Yay for you! Going to the dentist can be a difficult thing for many. It sounds like you're on the right track to improving your smile. Things should get better from here hopefully. Good luck!
