I am feeling horrible today. Sleepy, cranky, nauseus, poopy and just generally don't feel good. I was supposed to go to work today but when I dry heaved after taking my shower I knew I couldn't go to work. I have a call into my doc to see if he can give me something to knock it out of the park so to speak. I don't want to miss many days.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of the nausaa and diarrhea? I've taken imodium but its not working.

Ginger is a natural for stomach upset...Ginger Ale and snaps are good. I usually gently munch on ginger snaps when tummy is feeling yucky...they're dry like crackers and have that ginger in them. The Ginger Ale doesn't seem to help me much.

We've had a stomach virus around here (kids generally throw up but not the adults, though some do). If it's like the one that just went around here, the worst was over the first 36 hours, but the intestinal affects lasted about 5 days total, so you might want to watch what you eat during that time. I didn't, and it really upset me because I was feeling fine. The yuck

I hope you feel better ((((((((((( Jbug ))))))))))))))

I think you might have to find out what's causing it first, especially if the imodium isn't working. I hope it's not a bug. Can it be a reaction to any of your meds? I was feeling pretty bad when I woke but it's leftover from what I was eating yesterday I think. But several secondary aches and pains and stuff have come up.

Let us know how you're progressing. I would just think of something I felt like eating; toast or something to help the nausea, and hope it also helped the other end. Drink plenty of liquids for the diarrhea. I'd be doing warm, comforting stuff like soup/chicken broth.

I've been drinking white grape peach juice and gatorade to stay hydrated. I am waiting for my doc to call me back about what to do about the poopies. I hope he calls me in something. I've been taking the OTC imodium and my mom has prescription which she said if I needed it in the morning she would have the pharmacy bring me some.

I called my doc again today and he figures I have a virus and a sinus infection so I'm on antibiotics and will go back to work on Friday. I only work MWF so was told I can't go back to work until I've been on my meds for 24 hours as I'm running a slight fever and am contagious. Oh well. Mom is supposed to bring me some stuff tomorrow and she said she would bring me a book or a magazine.
