anyone here on water pills? I don't just swell in my ankles but dang I am swollen all over! I just took 80mg of lasix to see if that will help. I feel like a water balloon!

Not on a regular basis...I take an herbal remedy from time to time, mainly when I eat something with too much salt. It's a tough thing for me, because too much salt, and then dumping water...depletes my potassium (vitamin K) and I begin fainting.

Is that how much you normally take for this? How long does it take to work for you?

that is my normal dosage. I only take it when the swelling hits. usually a couple of times a week. I also have to take potassium along with it. It doesn't take long to start peeing my head off! errrrrrrr wish my dr would try to find out why I am having this instead of just taking pills!

I would keep a food diary, as that might be it... hidden salt or other type substance?

You know, this isn't connected to your issue, but my skin would break every so often... I traced it to when the city water company would add extra chlorine to the water! Got my filters on now.

oh dear! I know I have health issues that are probably contributing to it. dang I hate this feeling!
