I've been thinking of asking to be referred to a dietician so i can try to lose some weight. I only eat one meal a day really now, but i snack, and im still not losing weight.

I'm wishing you well. I'm having a difficult time losing the weight this time around...it is very frustrating... Surgery is not an option for me, however. I'm hoping that more consistent exercise helps me along....

Rainbow...I'm eating one meal a day too....losing muscle though so I definitely need to up my protein so I am eating enough so I burn fat instead of muscle... My doctor gave me a prescription to see a Nutritionist but I haven't yet...perhaps I need to do that as well...

Just a tiny warning for those that only eat one meal a day. Your body goes into starvation mode and hangs on to whatever fat is has already and whatever else it can hang on to.

Four small but nourishing meals a day is way better!

If you can't seem to lose any weight, no matter what you do, have your thyroid AND your pituitary function checked out. It's good to point out that not ALL obese people over eat.
