I have had a sore throat for like... I don't know... like a week or more and a few days ago I got a cough...
one of those deep, nasty ones that makes your chest hurt like hell
not to mention it makes my throat feel oh so much better *says sarcastically* but I can't stop coughing.
Not even Delsym is working!!!!

All I say is.... THIS FREAKIN SUCKS!!!!!!

That does sound nasty! Did you go to the doctor's? Sounds like an infection of some kind if the throat thing didn't go away. It doesn't sound like cough meds will help whatever that developed into! Ugh, poor thing!

Please go to the doc and make sure it's not strep. If strep goes untreated you could be in a world of trouble (not to scare you). I was watching a program where a guy who had strep and never got it treated and ended up with way more issues to deal with than a sore throat. The bacteria in strep is the same as flesh eating disease and the bacteria/virus spread to other parts of his body. Please see a doc.

Have you been to the doctor. I used to never go until I realized I could be healed in a few days instead of letting it drag on for a month or so...

with all of the above.

I think you should see a doctor. I hope you feel better soon!
