I have been accepted by a state agency to have home modifications ,widen hallways, doorways, etc for my power chair, they are also building me a ramp for front and back doors, the thing I need input on is they are going to get me a walk in tub / shower what do I look for ?

Do you mean you get to pick out the walk-in shower/tub, and you want to know what features to look for? I'm not too knowledgeable on this, but I would advise getting one that has a built-in seat, so you can sit down while you wash. They may all come with that, but if not, that's what I'd advise.

I'm not really sure, as I've never had to go anything like it.

But I would say if possible could you find somewhere that sells them and try them for getting in and out? Or if any of your friends have them, get recommendations and maybe try thiers out?

I googled them. here is the results page hon. I would suggest getting one with jets if at all possible.

Something with a seat, moveable showerhead (or one that's a sort of hose? I can't describe it... it's like a shower wand )

Beyond that, congrats. thats good news.

Thanks Poopiebear
As most of you know I had a fall several weeks ago, how the heck long does it take for a sprained leg to heal, it's hot to the touch and tender yet

If its tender, feels hot, and this issue has been going on for several weeks, you really should get it X-rayed. You might have partially fractured it or suffered a tear to some ligaments or tendons.
