[ne1410s]

Some of you know that I've been in the hospital & am having surgery on Monday to repair and remove pieces of a broken rib along with some torn cartilage in my ribcage.

So I've been pretty apprehensive about this surgery..scared and all..messed up EKG's along with some breathing issues and low levels of platelets. My platelet level finally went up after many meds and a small transfusion.

A few hours ago though I had an ultrasound that showed my rib is poking directly into my lung...which potentially could puncture my lung {wonderful} and another piece of my rib is tearing the lining of my sternum {even more wonderful}

So the doctors ultimately decided that they have to operate tonight as it's now a direct threat to my vitals.

I'm scared halfway to hell and I hope that nothing goes wrong. So scared. Bleh. I wasn't too sure where to post this so I just posted it here. I don't know how long I'll be out for -- but once I'm back and kicking I'll be here.
