anyone here know? if a doctor says keep taking a med if you have palpitations he obviously is a crackpot ? right?

I'd say the doctor may be wrong to suggest that, yes! Unless it's really not palpitations?

Have you ever been dx with them? - if yes and your doctor wants you to continue with the medicine I would do it.

You should really monitor them and keep track of them. If they get bad enough, go to the ER. Do you know how to take your own pulse? The neck is easier, and never use your thumb as it has it's own pulse.
If you don't know how, You your first two fingers, trace down from your ear to your jawline, and move three centimetres to towards the centre of your neck. Count the beats for 10 seconds, multiply it by 6 and you have your pulse per minute. The wrist usually has a stronger beat, I find, but it's harder to find. |

i wouldnt take a med that does that
i think doctors like that are bad i wont even take st johns wort because of palpitations
