Sounds like your body is right on target and running as it should..... smoothly.

Robo,
Do you mean that you have no "sensation" of having the bowel movement leaving your body--sitting on the toilet and waiting for it to pass? Then when you look in the toilet there it is?
If that is the case, I'd check in with your physician.
Jmo

In that case I would make an apt with your doctor.... please forgive my first reply as I thought you meant when you went to the restroom to have a bm.... but if it is happening in your pants before you ever get to the bathroom then it is some thing worth looking into.

I use to leak and after seeing a doctor and having a colonoscopy performed I was dx with IBS... diet helps control most of it.

Buying some Depends would be my solution until you see the doctor.

Depends is a very good short-term solution, Robo.
I would like to add that it would be a good idea to do your best to keep the area clean in order to prevent irritation...those large baby wipes are good for that after using a wash cloth.

When you make the appt, please make sure whoever is setting up the appt knows what is happening...it should get an appt scheduled sooner.
If anything changes, blood/mucus in the stool or blood in the urine contact your physician asap or go to the ER.
One last thing; if you are experiencing back pain or any "burning" sensations in the back of your legs please call your physician.

Please don't delay in seeking treatment. It may not be anything to worry about, but why take the chance?

Best wishes,
Cap

Talk to you - examine you - blood work - schedule a colonoscopy - medication if needed

Jmo, Roba, but he'll do a complete physical exam, possibly lab work.
Are you on any medication, perhaps pain meds, that to your knowledge has constipation as a side effect?
How is your appetite? Is this a fairly new thing or has it been going on for some time? Your physician will most likely ask you these two questions, among others of course.

Please keep posting and let us know how you are,
Cap

Roba,
Please check in with your physician...
Actually, it will make me feel better, too! Let us know how it goes, ok?

Hugs if it's all right,
Cap
