So I woke up this morning and my left eye hurts soo much, and even more when I move it to look some where else. I don't think it's pink eye because it wasn't crusted shut, and it IS redder than the other eye but it's not horribly red... Maybe I did something to it in my sleep???

Do you have allergies? Sometimes I wake up and I'm rubbing my eye. That can make it very sore. Perhaps you got something in it. If it gets any worse I'd see the MD and get a script for some pink eye meds Sore Eye! They actually do make it feel better.

take care and good luck!
Kimberly.

Maybe a corneal abrasion? A fancy word for eyeball scatch. Sometimes i rub too hard on my eyes and such things occur. Could it be a stye?

painful!

A little bump somewhere along the lid. Sometimes they're red, sometimes they're skin colored but they hurt like the dickens.

A stye, medically known as a hordeolum, is a small lump that appears on, inside or under the eyelid or on eyelashes. Styes typically result from a staphylococcal bacteria infection or from a clogging of the oil glands around the eyelashes or inside the eyelid, but can be triggered during times of stress. They are usually harmless, despite their appearance – causing redness, tenderness, pain and sometimes light-sensitivity and eye-watering.

spaz-
If it is still bothering you need to see the dr. My litle sister had a soar eye once and she went to dr and found out that she could have gone blind had she not taken care of it right away.

Hope it isn;'t serious, but definately get it checked. Perhaps even just call an Ask A Nurse in your area and see what they say.
