So far I've had a Balance bar - 210 - and a Lean Cuisine - 260. I'm on my second 20 oz. bottle of water, and I had part of a diet Squirt. I'm snacking on sunflower seeds right now - 280 if I finish the whole serving, but the salt is bothering me today.
I trampolined for a few minutes this morning. __________________ If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space! Rondeau |

I'm not doing well and I don't want to post what I ate in yesterday. And I did not go to the gym.
But today I have had: 1 cup of blueberries about 1/2 cup of nonfat cottage cheese 2 cups of green tea 1 piece of my french bread toast (although it was kind of a big piece) __________________ thatsallicantypewithonehand |

I put back half of the seeds for a refund of 140 calories. Now I'm eating a South Beach Diet bar. It's pretty tasty. The Balance bar this a.m. was really good - cinnamon, oats and honey.
I was going to save up room for a Reuben tonight with my son, but my daughter came home sick with stomach problems so she won't be going to her dad's and I won't be taking him out for dinner. (No sense exposing anyone else to this bug that's running around). __________________ If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space! Rondeau |

Keep up the good work! It's good that you're drinking lots of water. I should drink more.
I should exercise too... LOL Good for you for sticking with exercise! __________________ |

It looks like your meal today was very healthy.

I just ate a reuben from the mom and pop restaurant down the street. It was excellent, but I'm STUFFED. I didn't put the Thousand Island dressing on it. I think I need to go jump on the trampoline to get it to start digesting.

I just went for a 1/2 hour run and then mowed the lawn (or more precisely, the moss)

Better moss than thistles and dandelions that make up most of my lawn.
While I was trampolining, my son was volleying a balloon at me. Talk about getting the heart rate up trying to do two things at once, huff, huff, huff. I think the laughing helped too. __________________ If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space! Rondeau |

Yesterday I only had the half of meal. (the chicken and green beans) Today I ate all of a lunch: spaghetti with meatsauce, pasta fagioli soup (no salad, no rolls, no dessert) sigh.
It isn't so much whether what you eat is good or bad (no food, that IS food, imo is bad. It's the non foods that are bad.) And imo a good plan begins with "just" listing what you're eating (no judgment.) Letting the brain know the mind knows.. hehehe that's important to me! I'm having to do more sets of stretching, due to my SI being out... but can't do exercise so to speak. __________________ |

Yep, I think when you write down what you're putting in your mouth, you're held more accountable to yourself. Something about seeing it in writing makes it sink in more when you're eating the high-calorie, non-nutritive items. Yikes!
I'm finding that making sure to eat protein before anything else really does curb the cravings for carbs and fat. __________________ If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space! Rondeau |
