I am not one to complain about much but I am kinda scared. My left leg has been going numb happened a couple times in the last month, just from the knee down. I thought no big deal just something pinched as I had been on my feet a lot at work when it happened. But now I have a new symptom my foot is swollen ankle on down first it was left foot now my right foot is swelling too. I haven't done anything different that I can think of. I push on them and they don't stay dented in so don't think it has to do with dehydration. I know I am going to hear make Dr appt. which I can't afford. So please just keep me in your prayer's and healing thought's. Thanks.

(((gma45))) - do you have back problems? Try as soon as you can to get this checked out. Look at the amount of salt you're consuming since this can causes retention of water. Wear support stockings, especially if you're standing for long hours. When they're swollen, lay down with your feet higher than your heart. I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

Hey, gma45 - It sounds like you could have a very serious medical condition. PLEASE SEE AN MD ASAP. It is not worth the risk even if cash is short. If you have no money, go the to nearest emergency room. It is possible that you could have a blood clot in your leg. If that clot moves to your chest area it is extremely dangerous. It could also be congestive heart failure. Do you get any exercise at all? If not please start walking 1 mile a day (build your stamina up gradually) to get your blood flowing. Do you take a QD81 aspirin each day? If not, please start. Good luck (and health) to you.

I completely agree with unhappyguy. Better to be safe than sorry. There are hospitals that will treat you regardless of your ability to pay. This sounds like it could be serious. Please take good care of yourself!

Some things are not good to mess around with and our health is one of them. I hope you will seriously reconsider seeing someone about this whether it be your doc or the ER. Please take good care and will keep you in my thoughts meanwhile. Sending well wishes. __________________ I can be changed by what happens to me. Swelling has gone down now both feet feel like someone beat them they feel bruised to the touch but are not really that bruised. I was thinking I did feel a sharp burning pain in my back before this all started. Will up date soon. Hopefully I can sell somethings and get some extra money to at least make dr appt. Thanks for all your caring thoughts and prayers. I know they for sure have helped me.
