When my back is tired, I lean back on my chair and crack my back. Is this an okay thing to do? Will this damage my spine? It feels good to crack my back.

Does anyone else crack their back?

Has anyone experienced problems or heard about problems arising from back cracking?

I think it's fine. Chiropractors make a living off of it, so I can't see how it's bad for the average person. I'm sure there are exceptions, though.

My chiropractor said it's okay. It's just the sound of air popping.

I often twist my back to crack it in both directions before I go to bed. It's fairly harmless from what I've heard and remember.

I crack anything that feels like it needs cracking. That includes my knuckles, although I don't think that's a good thing to do.

The only problem is, when you get older, sometimes things crack that you don't mean to crack! LOL! Back cracking, is it normal?
