Talked to T and marraige T about this today. My back pain is getting so much worse here that when I stand , I can only stand for 5 minutes before my legs start buckling underneath me and I have to lean over the counter in the kitchen to support myself. I am scared of what is happening here. And feel so stupid because of my age that this is even happening. I think I may have to go seek some pain management care. Not sure what all that will entail. Looked it up with our insurance and it should cover most of it. Just have to find a provider for it. I cant live this way forever... Back pain getting worse...

Go for the pain management. You need it. You can't live like that when there are other options there for you.

This rain can't be helping it, either.

Hugs,

Jan

I had back pain and "cured" it by joining a gym (with a personal trainer).
You would think the last thing you'd want to do is exercise a hurting back but a lot of the time it is just weak muscles that need to be strengthened.

Pain management is the way to go... i have been living with chronic back pain for many years now and it wil only get worse if you don't find a way to get some relief soon.

Have you ever heard of kinesiology? It can be most helpful with back pain and its nonevasive treatment, although I am not sure if insurance covers it or not.

I hope you get to feeling better soon!

I talked to my doctor today.. He doesnt want to go the pain managment route just yet. He wanted me to see a physiologist (sp) first. To see if there are any other reasons that I am having this pain and other tests that I may need to do. I am not looking forward to this. But will do what I have to to get this under control. Its making me too sedentary for my own good. He prescribed another heart med for me and a different pain killer. He also wants me to find a diet I am comfortable with and will stick with . So now I am in search of what to do about that. He prefers Weight Watchers. But I've done that and its ok.. but still hard to keep up with all the journaling. And the journaling is what really helps you . I am so limited by what I can do exercise wise with the back problems righ tnow. That scares me too. I may start a new thread on suggesting diets. The thing that realy scared me is my brother in law having a heart attack a month ago. I dont want to be like him and have that happen. So I know I want a heart healthy diet. My husband is going to hate this! I can hear the wrath of him coming down now lol. Ohhh boy. Back pain getting worse...
