I roll my neck out, sometimes, when it gets stiff. As far as dizziness with a headache, do you have migraines? Could also be a tension headache. Hope you feel better.

Wish I had some home remedies to share

Add: Here's a video and a website, that I found, to explain, better, what I mean by a neck roll.

How long you had it? I sometimes wake with a bad headache/neck pain and it isn't always because of how I sleep. I think last night's was from too much sugar yesterday (I was eating Life Savers as I was reading for several hours last night?). Do you wear glasses or do you now and you're close to 40? I know I had headaches/vision, etc. because I was doing a lot of reading and didn't have glasses yet and/or I was doing a lot of reading and my glasses weren't "right" (bent), etc.

Interesting, the knee pain in there too. I'd try to eat well today, get enough water/hydration and see if it got better and/or went away in a day or two. If it did not, I'd go see my doctor.

thanks i first blamed the pain on the fact that i sleep in weird positions. But this time the pain is much more severe and none of my usual remedies worked. Another odd thing is tht when I went outside everything had a red tone to it..it was like i was wearing tinted glasses..and i saw some zig zag lines on/off.
I am usually wearing glasses yes..I also spent a few hours at the computer yesterday. Maybe I was holding my head in a bad position. Next time I will just work on my computer in bed :] The neck pain started Thursday and it only got very bad yesterday night. If its not better by monday I will have to see a doctor..not another one :/

This sometimes works for me:
I take a tennis ball, put it in a long sock. I lay flat on the floor. lift my head slightly and with the help of the sock position the ball so that when I rest my head back down, the tennis ball is hitting that space at the top of the neck/ bottom of the head . where you feel a space between bones... I think there are pressure points (not certain) but work it into that space... it may not feel very pleasant at first... and may need to only do it for a minute or two at a time. But it has helped me deal with a migraine.

I am sure there are, I believe there's a variety of meds, depending on severity. I don't get migraines, but know others that do. Not sure, what they take.

Hope it clears up for you, whatever this may be...
