After see three different doctors in a month for migraines, I finally go some answers. Im hoping my findings can help some of you that suffer as well. (which is the reason for my posting this).

My migraine lasted for 4 1/2 weeks. (off and on) and I was beside myself in pain. The pain relievers I was given did not help. I had an MRI and I am healthy!

I found out I am Peri-memopausal, so I was put back on birth control for the estrogen and I take propraolol 80mg every night. It helps prevent headaches. Since the end of August I have only had one and it was a light one.

I also found that putting dry barley in a baggie and putting it in the freezer will feel awesome on your head when you have a headache. I have a couple so I can trade them out. My sister likes dried rice. My husband likes split peas.

I hope I helped. If you have any advise that might help out please feel free to post.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try it whenever I'll get a migraine again(hopefully not soon though).
