Never mind. I see now this thread is gonna be full of the same REPETITIVE and unhelpful information that does NOT answer my question, as I've been surfing through for the past FOUR HOURS. I quit. Move along, folks. Nothing to see here.

I would think that any kind of bug, spider or mite could, because no telling how many crawl in and out of our noses, ears and mouths when we are sleeping and unaware.
I do believe our bodies have ways of dealing with that and if not then a certain amount of symptoms or discomfort would be present enough to have us go seek medical attention. It would definitely not be something to be ashamed of if the doctor found one in there either. Not sure if that was helpful or not ... But if you suspect you might have that particular critter in that particular area, then I'd contact my doctor and have it seen about. Sincerely, Pfrog! |

A cockroach crawled into the vagina of one of my employees while she was sleeping nude. Bedbugs are smaller than cockroaches. Although she was extremely horrified and completely freaked by it, the gyno took care of the problem quickly and gave her medication to take for five days.
I suggest a trip to the gyno ASAP. If you have no funds or health insurance, you can probably get services through Planned Parenthood, your county health department or other social service agency. As upsetting as any insect in one's private areas might be, if there are symptoms of any kind, such as itching, burning or smell, it may need treatment. It could be something as simple as a yeast infection or some other infection. Listen, because this is important ... bedbugs can happen to anyone, rich or poor, compulsively clean or not. And bites can get anywhere on the body. If you have concerns, best to get it checked out. It's not gross or terrible. Bedbugs are an epidemic and they can be picked up in the finest hotels or by buying any kind of second hand furniture with fabric or any kind of second hand fabric-ish things. Perfectly clean visitors can bring them into your home with their luggage. You can pick them up visiting friends. I've literally had a bug in my ear. It crawled in during the night and woke me up and I was running through the house half-crazy until I poured alcohol in my ear. That killed the bug. But you can't pour alcohol into your vagina. That would hospitalize you with burns. I'm a clean person and that dang bug crawled in my ear and took up residence. It was very noisy. I wish you the best and hope you can see the doctor soon. |

In any case, do not let fear or embarassment keep you from seeking a dr care

if you have bed bugs, you will want to get rid of them anyways(much easier said, than done)... however... it's possible that they can go there... i dont think they would survive if that's where they were deciding to stay there tho.. the ph balance and other things that the vagina normally makes wouldn't let the bed bugs survive in there long... when i was a teen and our house had some really bad ants (fire ants included), i had what i started calling the "perverted ants", because some actually got there and bited me!
also... the first time i had chicken pox it wasn't so bad, but the second time (was less than a year after the first time(i was about 6yr at that time) i had a really bad case of chicken poxs and one of the biggest areas where i broke out with them was in my privates. even the doctor at that time said she hadn't seen anyone with that bad of them. and i was subjected to many baths of sticky icky oatmeal.. someone with sensory issues, you can imagine how i was screaming my head off the whole time, and fighting... but.. yeah.. i think it's possible for them to get in there too.. and they seek out dark areas... so.. yeah.. __________________ .........

Could ask a moderator to close the thread. As there seem to be no definitive answers to your quest to find such an answer.

Technically they are small enough and "can" but don't particularly want to. They want to suck your blood and wherever they come in contact with you "first" is good enough for them. They like bedding and spaces to hide away from the light/day but dry ones and your innards aren't dry.

Maybe they do, maybe not, but when working in the woods ticks crawl up your leg and head for the moistest warmest place...anyway nuff said, a pair of women tights excludes them and maybe a method for peace of mind about your bed bugs too?

Oh thankfully since I moved there haven't been any bed bugs that I know of. We have a brand new bed and I threw away most of my old clothes.
There is just so much conflicting feedback on this topic and it's driving me crazy! Some women claim that they have had bed bugs crawl inside their you-knows, while others go as far as to claim that that is impossible and goes against a bed bug's nature; which apparently is to just bite you wherever is convenient and then flee. Someone even said that they couldn't survive in the heat and would avoid crawling in there. Then others say that they would crawl anywhere. Of course a lot of people use other bugs as examples but I have no idea how helpful that can be considering these are bed bugs we're talking about. They're not roaches, they're not spiders, they're not mosquitoes or ants... So it's very frustrating and I gave up. Thankfully it was only a regular old yucky infection. I hadn't had one for years so I got paranoid. __________________ Ein Mensch ist mehr wert als tausend Welten.

Here's a link to a mass website on them. Don't know if this is somewhere you've came across yet or not.
Bed Bugs | US EPA On the bed bug myth page i found some of these things: Myth: Bed bugs live in dirty places. Reality: Bed bugs are not attracted to dirt and grime; they are attracted to warmth, blood and carbon dioxide. However, clutter offers more hiding spots. Myth: Bed bugs won’t come out if the room is brightly lit. Reality: While bed bugs prefer darkness, keeping the light on at night won’t deter these pests from biting you. __________________ .........
