I'm anemic a year after my hysterectomy and very tired. I already had a colonoscopy and they found nothing. My Dr left a vm that I'm referred to a hematologist and ononcologist. Also went in and got a copy of my blood work. My creatinine levels indicate I Either have bleeding in my gi tract a uti or kidney failure. I tried to make an appto just go over the test results with my dr and she cannot see me until March 5. Told the receptionist I felt awful could I see someone sooner-she said yes but he could only discuss my "cold" and not the test results. What??? He said I have a sinus infection and sent me on my way. I've been playing phone tag with the cancer center for a week. Aaaargh. Meanwhile I'm missing work. I'm going to try to go back tomorrow even though I feel awful. *

I'm sorry you are having to go through this. Waiting can be excruciating. I see a hematologist/oncologist due to a blood clot in my leg that won't go away. It can be scary having to see specialists. Try to stay calm and positive. He can rule out a lot of things and get you on a road to recovery.
