Tangerine87,

I had Septoplasty to correct a deviated septum. I was getting sinus infections on a regular basis and they were getting harder and harder to treat. The surgery completely fixed my problem. I had very little discomfort and healed with up fine. My surgery was over 25 years ago! Good luck to you!

Mine is endoscopic sinus surgery. Did you have a trouble breathing through your mouth? For 2 weeks I can't breathe through my nose

I had full sinus surgery, was about 4 hours. My sinus were both 99% closed, I had chronic infections for years .
My recovery was brutal to be honest. I wasn't able to bend over at all for 8 weeks, could not blow my nose either. I had to do salt water flushes 4 times a day.

Had I known just how awful mine was going to be I would have never gone through with it.

Bit the end result ? I have not not had a single sinus infection in 6 years.

Felt so bizarre breathing through my nose lol

If you having endoscopic it should be so much easier.

End result is worth it

I was still able to breath through my nose. I had minimal swelling. The weirdest part was having the stitches taken out.

How much recovery time did you take?
