I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago. I went through a mastectomy, reconstruction, and chemotherapy. Treatment lasted a year. I've been cancer free for 2 years. At my last follow-up mammogram they found an abnormality on my remaining breast. I go for further diagnostics next week. It's not exactly that I'm nervous, but the thought of having to go through treatment all over again on my remaining side makes me not want to go next week. I just don't want to go through this again.
