I am sitting here feeling sick...... my head is stuffed, my chest & ears hurt and I think I am getting case of tonsillitis (throat is swollen & I cannot swallow to well), but at least I have some good news....... I am drinking a hot toddy (or two or three) in hopes of feeling better one way or the other.

Sorry about not feeling well.....sure do hope you are over it in no time flat. YAY on the hot toddy's hehehe. My hubby turned me onto a great cold reliever and something to help me relax and fall asleep faster. Boiled wine! Yep you heard me right...boiled wine. Take a nice red wine, heat it up with cinnamon and pepper....then sip it. Not only is the aroma and steam from the cup of wine good for you, it really helps to relax you and I almost feel better just thinking about it...LOL. It has to be made with red wine though....not a port or anything heavy like that....(can you tell i'm not much of a wine drinker?? LOL) but a semi sweet red wine will do best in my opinion. Don't know what kind of wine that would be called....I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to that stuff...lol.  sabby |

Oh no poor Rhap (((( Rhapsody))))
Seems they're dropping like flies in the kids school, including the stuff. I am pretty fortunate that I only get physically ill maybe once every 5-7 years. Sends you healing thoughts via PC Express

Thanks for the hint about the wine, but sadly enough I have never found my taste buds for any wine - guess I better stick with the hot toddy for now.

I baby sit my great-nephews and great-niece for my niece (a single mom) and the oldest son that is in elementary school brought it home and gave it to his brother and sister last week - who in turn shared it with me this week......
