I am constantly choking on my spit often for 10 minutes at a time. I don’t know why. It happens when I eat and when I don’t eat. Most of the time I’m not eating or drinking anything when it happens. I can be standing or sitting. It happened at the grocery store today and I was trying so hard not to cough and draw attention to myself. It’s just getting worse too.
Anyone know what’s up with this or if I should be concerned? __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

Hi,
I'm not a medic so can only talk about my own experiences. Can I ask how much water you drink and how much dairy you consume? I don't drink milk but like yoghurt and cheese. Also, I try to drink the recommended amount of water per day. Yes, it can be difficult, but if I don't then I get a build up of mucus overnight. Then spend at least an hour each morning trying to get rid! It can sometimes take at least a week to complete the cycle. Have you tried "steaming"? Head covered in towel over bowl of hot water? Breathe in steam deeply and spit will disperse. If none of this helps, then suggest you see doctor for diagnosis. |

Yeah I drink a lot of water and not a lot of diary. Today it was so bad I actually took my temp to see if I had a bug or something that was making me cough so much. But it was normal.
Yeah I worry quite a bit about MS and also Parkinson’s. I’ve been very clumsy lately and I’ve gotten some bad tremors on my left side. I do that pill rolling thing too with my left hand. I also have had REM sleep issues for several years and I’ve heard that 50% of people with these types of sleep issues develop neurological disorders. It’s kinda freaky. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

Last night I was eating lasagnas and it hurt my throat to eat it. It burned going down despite it not being very hot and it wasn’t spicy. But I don’t know how to explain it except that it just hurt to eat it. Even when I ate slower it still was very uncomfortable. I ended up not finishing it even though I wanted to.
