I was quite upset, because last year I noticed my hair was visibly thinning at the front, I almost had a completely bald patch.
Went to my Dr. to see what could be causing it, and she did blood work that showed I had extremely low B12 and Ferretin levels. Since then I've been having monthly B12 shots as well as taking a B12 and iron supplement orally every day, I noticed yesterday that my hair has almost completely grown back in, This is very exciting. Now if I could just get rid of the dark bags under my eyes which can also be caused by B12 defieiency. |

I've been losing pieces of hair and its been stressful. I'm showing a lot of signs of anemia but it didnt show up on my bloodwork. At least I dont think it did my doctor was mainly worried about 2 of my other levels which were very high at the time.
I see my primary in a few weeks and I'll ask him then about the hair thing. |
