I've lost 7 pounds recently due to severe loss of appetite and my pants that fit fine when I was 7 and more pounds heavier don't fit anymore and I've actually had to buy a few pairs in a bigger size.

Why would I be losing weight but going up a size in pants? I have been having a lot of stomach pain and nausea and stuff and I'm waiting to hear back about a covid test I had today before I am able to see my doctor on Monday.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Bloating, but really that's odd. Somethings up. I'd get checked out.

My doctor said my stomach felt ok but he ordered an ultrasound since it could possibly be my gallbladder.

I can't remember if you are on hormones or not, but my daughter and her spouse both found their entire body structures have changed, down to shoe sizes even. Muscle mass is different, skeletal structure is changed. So yeah, clothes just fit differently now.

Seven pounds never makes much of a difference in how my clothes fit. Honestly it is usually +/- 10 pounds before I see much "fit" change, and that has to be a consistent weight change.

Is your daughter trans?

I have noticed just by glancing in the mirror these past few weeks that my body shape has become much more narrow then it was before. I took a few pictures and there is a drastic diffrence in skeletal stucture and muscle mass then there was last year. Everything is flat now. My shoes seem to be a bit bigger.

Yes, she and her fiance are both MTF and in taking hormones in transition. It's been interesting learning from their process. Definitely an education.
