Going to the ER for a bad stomach ache related to something you ate? I ate walnuts today and I thought I just had issues with peanuts, cashews, hazelnuts, and some weird ones I don't eat. But apparently I also can't do walnuts. I did an at home test.
Anyways I ate a small pack almost 6 hours ago and I've been dealing with a migraine, nausea, and this really bad stomach pain. I took as much Advil, zofran, and my stomach med that I could. I just now took some pepto bismol. I'm not sure what an ER could do me besides possible pain manegment. So maybe I should just try to sleep it off and call my doctor in the morning about a legit food allergy test. But have you ever gone to the ER just for a really bad stomach ache? __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

No.
Have you been checked for an ulcer? Dr Google said not to eat nuts on an empty stomach if you have an ulcer or "high acid". I thought a food allergy meant you couldnt breathe after eating something your allergic to. My brother cant eat bananas, he legit swells up. |

Yes with appendicitis. Well more like calling 911. You don’t know what caused pain. Is the pain severe? If it’s sever enough and doesn’t go away, it warrants drastic measures. Do you still have your appendix?
My daughter cannot eat apples neither can her dad. Food allergy can have different symptoms. Not just swelling. Nausea and vomiting etc Well I have appendix taken out. |

I have not been checked for an ulcer. Avoiding nuts and eggs have kept the pain away. I do still have my appendix. I was able to sleep the pain off last night and I'll call my doctor today to set up an appointment. It has to be an allergy of some sort. I can feel the nausea in my mouth as well. My at home test says I am moderatly sensitive to apples but I don't have an issue with them but I just eat apple sauce so I'm not sure that would be totally the same thing.

I set up an appointment for Monday at 8:45AM. I'm not gonna muck around with this stomach stuff anymore. I don't know how they do a food allergy test. I'm hoping its as simple as any other lab test and I can get it done that day, but Its probably more complicated then I'm thinking it is.

I'm really really tempted to go to the ER right now. This stomach pain is incredible. I have a high pain tolereance but this is getting to be too much. I just have to wait a few hours so I can hopefully sleep and then my appointment is early.
I think it was the cesar dressing in my salad. I think it had a lot of egg in it. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |
