my a1c went from 6.7 to 5.8 so I'm back in prediabetic range. my dr is keeping me on metfourmin. I also lost 5 lbs! That's thanks to the chormium picollate. He basically said keep doing what your doing.
He's still going to start me on a statin another take with food med. my death from heart attack chances is only 2 percent. Really I think he's over cautious. But I want to keep it low so I'll start the statin. otherwise I'm good. Haven't bought oreos since my diagnosis. Don't even miss them. __________________ Son: 14, 12/15/2009 R.I.P. Congratulations! I struggle with A1C. Keeping it in safe range is no easy task for me. It is great to hear that you are back in the pre-diabetes range!
