Made the decision on the hysterectomy,having it done for preventive reasons.Seen the specialist today and boyfriend was there for support.Discussed everything very well and a wise decision I made.Date is January 9th,2023 when I have it done and boyfriend is going to be there for support as well.My family is stepping up too,helping out during recovery.

I found the website www.hystersisters.com very helpful when going through my hysterectomy. Tons of support and they even have a special group for the people who have surgery the same week as you. That support helped a lot.

It is because I have the gene for ovarian cancer and I do not want to go through this later in my life

It went well and did find a starting of a cyst on my left ovary.Going back to work next week with a restriction,cannot do anything heavy for 5 weeks.My son and his friends have been a great help.My family too as well
