Has anyone tried it in terms of lowering blood sugar, I had drs Wednesday and they said that I have really high blood sugar levels which could be diabetes, I have to have another blood test a fasting one in about months time, but the Dr said that I need to look at my diet etc, which I've done and like made a few changes, however I also read on line that apple cider vinegar can also help to lower blood sugar levels - so I've bought some and took the first two tablets/pills today, but I am just wondering does this stuff actually work ?? has anyone used it and found it works ?

Never tried it. I lowered mine a teeny bit by reducing carbs and increasing fats.

I have used it before, its good for digestion and prevents bloating but that's about it. The taste of it is awful even in tablet form but the juice is better in my opinion. The tablet form didn't do anything for me. I think it does impact blood sugar levels but be careful that you are taking the right amount or it will have the opposite affect.

I never tried myself.

It lowers it a little bit. I would look into Keto or fasting to get your blood sugar down.

I've never tried it myself but I'm reading The Glucose Revolution by Jessie Inchauspe and she talks about drinking apple cider vinegar too. You may want to check that book out. It's all about lowering blood sugar.

I'd be concerned about its effect on tooth enamel.

If you can afford it, get a continuous blood glucose monitor (a CGM) for several months and figure out what causes glucose spikes personally in you. Our reactions to foods, drinks, events in terms of glucose response are individual and only a CGM can tell you what works or does not work for YOU.

My personal trainer has recommended the following drink which is actually quite tasty (great to drink while exercising):

1 liter of water
2 tbsp of ACV
juice of a whole lemon
a cinnamon stick

Brew everything cold overnight in the fridge. Drink next day.

I had never liked ACV prior to trying this recipe, but now I like it.
