I think it's med related as I'm not really dieting right now. it's awesome I'm down about 12 lbs. I still have 100 to go, but this is motivating me.
I'm taking metformin and a statin. Maybe they're doing something as my dr said I have insulin resistance, and am pre diabetic. So when I went back to pre diabetic the dr kept me on metformin. Now I'm glad he did. __________________ Son: 14, 12/15/2009 R.I.P. Daughter: 20 Diagnosis: Bipolar with Psychosis. Latuda 100 mgs. |

I can definitely empathize with you. I just found out my A1C rose one point into the prediabetes range [the lowest prediabetes number]. Five years ago I was in the high prediabetes range and almost diabetic and then through diet and exercise I brought it down into the normal range again. But it has been slowly creeping up again. I am determined to work harder and smarter to get my A1C numbers down again. I hope you and I will be okay. I am rooting for you!
