Three months ago, I spent weeks having chest pain due to stress, and woke up with chest pain one day and decided to go to urgent care it was determined my heart is healthy and that it was acid reflux.

On Thursday, I went to the ER after having chest pain for 12 hours. Neither EKG nor testing showed any trouble with the heart. My pain was alleviated after a GI cocktail and pepcid, but this was no average indigestion, it was incredibly painful and lasted for hours and hours and nothing I took alleviated it until I took something strong at the ER.

I've always had issues with IBS and now more recently acid reflux, but this is getting worse.

I am scared that after everything I've gone through already, now I might be facing cancer or some serious disease.

I'm just plain scared, and I can use some comforting words.

Please don't name what it might be or what it might not be, I just need comfort with how scared I feel.

I know from experience Er visits can be scary, it’s hard to leave things in the hands of other people. I’m sure they will everything they can to find and resolve the cause of your pain. It can take time.

I hope things get better.

I'm going through the same thing and it sucks. I throw something up almost daily now. I work with a PT and shes great, but I'm kind of wondering if I need to go get a second opinion somewhere else.

And yeah that ER GI cocktail is amazing. I wish they sold some of that stuff OTC.

I did a follow up with the doctor

They're going to put on a ziopatch for a week

They say my heart doesn't have enough time to rest.

And I have heart arrythmia and something more.

They're going to check my thyroid and do tests on my digestive system.

It's a combination of things, but they want to narrow it down.

I'm fried. And my parents cut ties on Sunday so we can't talk. I'm just...not able to keep going anymore.
