I had strep last sunday and earlier this week. Kinda a nasty case of it. The puking chills fever kind. Anyways I've been on antibiotics for about 6 full days. Out of 10. And I feel like the antibiotics are causing a lot of anxiety. I was feeling fine this morning until I took my morning dose. I had a sinus infection last month and I had the same issue with anxiety and feeling weird mental health wise and I ended up going off the antibiotic. But I feel like this is a lot more serious then a sinus infection so I'm trying just to hang on for the last 4 days.

Does anyone have any suggestions or has this happened to you before?

Do ask your prescribing physician and or pharmacist to check for drug interactions with your mental health meds if you have any. I have been advised to make changes according to my own doctor due to antibiotics effecting me during treatment for infections. So, definitely double check with them if you're on psych meds. Otherwise, I hope your anxiety resolves itself soon Mountaindewed. I hope your strep gets better too. Much luv,
