Okay, so I didn't do any hardcore stimulants.
But I snorted 10mg of methylphenidate, had two strong cups of coffee, some energy drink with I don't know what the fk in it, and an enough-to-feel-it amount of McGulicuddy's (strong liquor known to get people wasted faster than pretty much anything without moonshine). I feel absolutely nothing from the stimulants, and really I didn't have a lot of alcohol so I just feel warm and like singing "Heaven in Hiding" by Halsey all day (and wanting more swigs, but I swear I'm going to moderate today). __________________ [Insert thought-provoking and comedic quote here] |

Alcohol is a depressant, as you know, so it would most likely counter the stimulants...

"Swearing to moderate" lmao didn't happen. Uppers wore off and now I'm just drunk. Not like lay on the floor and ignore existence drunk though. Enough that I'm okay with existence though (and totally shouldn't leave the building haha). Me likey the GABA and dopamine
I have heard a lot of "don't mix uppers and downers" though. __________________ [Insert thought-provoking and comedic quote here] |

Stimulants don’t work on you because of alcohol consumption.

Did some research on this and tried going back to when I did in the past combine stronger stimulants (i.e. crystal meth) with stronger depressants (i.e. opiates), and also considering the fact that with many other people that drink a wee bit more than the average bear (like, actual bear would want to. Much more than the average human), including myself, feel more of a stimulant effect from alcohol although technically still being a CNS depressant. Like, if I drink alcohol alone it's more "hey, let's get the laundry done, sing, dance, increase in heart rate and blood pressure, feeling alert to stimuli (but also being more distractable), less of an appetite (have not binged since the last day I haven't drank). I don't know if that is a factor.
But they don't cancel each other out for the body, more so compete. I guess, yeah, you don't *feel* as drunk which is what I kinda guessed. Combining uppers and downers in the past was more trying to make withdrawals not suck and was more alternating. I knew a dude who OD'd on fentanyl, but then someone injected him with meth and he didn't die (that day anyways). Uppers+downers simultaneously have a bit of an unpredictable outcome in subjective feelings depending on the person (yesterday I was feeling pretty damn good, but today I just feel straight up tired and guilty. The guilt is more so blowing someone off to inebriate.), what they took, and how much, but generally and physically you can expect dizziness, drowsiness, poor concentration, and heart damage. __________________ [Insert thought-provoking and comedic quote here] |
