But what does it mean when you go to the bathroom and it floats? I'm having issues which I'm seeing a GI about and my stool test result was like a 201 and abnormal is 120. So something is not right for sure. Anyways I'm getting a colonoscopy done.

But is floating shyt anything to worry about? This is the second this this has happened.

Could be due to more fat in the stool, or gas/gas-producing bacteria.

Poop is supposed to float, or so I've heard.

Yes, now that I think of it, lots of nasty things float: mucus, fat, oil and dead fish. Brussel Sprouts, too.

Well, I mean when we're talking about poop maybe it's better to have dead fish in there than live fish
