How bad are the side effects? I have a message into my psych doctor to see if the mental health side effects would be too much. I can get a shot instead. Its for bone issues that hurt like **** right now.

I do shots in a bone that I really need a surgery on. I think shot is better. I get shot directly in a spot. Steroids bother my stomach and makes me bloated. So not sure if it’s a good idea. Not sure about mental health

I took the first 2 and I mainly feel bloated and like I'm 8 months pregnant. But not much of anything else. The pharamaicist says it can increase my anxiety and other stuff but he says its only for 5 days.

How painful are the shots? Not that it matters. But my shoulder is ****ed up and I lasted 3 pills before I had too much and I'm going in for a shot tommorow.

But my mental health and stomach are fuked up right now and the lady on the phone said its for sure a reaction to the steriods.

How the eff can 3 pills be so evil?

Yeah for the pills its like you have to tolerate being on a roller coaster for the duration. But it cures what ails you. They gave it to me for a vicious lip thing.

The shot, if its what im thinking, they shoot straight into the injured area. I dont know how the shoot it into bone. But they say it relieves the pain, but you cant keep getting it (like every year or twice a year) because the shot eventually weakens the site - the bones or muscle or whatever. Maybe get physical therapy to build it up after you relieve the pain.

I got the shot. It wasn't bad. I'm used to shots so maybe thats why. She did it closer to my back for medical jargon reasons. My shoulder just feels numb right now but doesnt hurt. She says the shot should last 3 months. She asked if I wanted a refferal to PT but I said no. My mom says I shouldn't rule it out though. I know my PT cured my constipation. But idk. I don't think I need it right now.

I feel better from the steroids. I felt like hell at 2AM but I took some stuff and I woke up at 7 feeling fine.

The pain is back and its worse then my stomach pain ever was. I can't sleep and I havent eaten anything but crackers in about 12 hours.

Do you get to a point where you just take advil even though you can't because of other reasons? Does one issue just finally outweigh the other.

They are usually painful but nothing one can’t handle. My doc sprays something on it prior to, like numbing agent. It helps. Sometimes they are less painful, it depends how inflamed is the area.
