My family is all testing positive for covid and I have the same symptoms but I've tested negative 4 times in 3 days. Is it possible somehow they got covid and I just got a bad cold? I know this virus still doesn't make a lot of sense.

It could be. You might just not have covid, Also could be that the test isn’t showing it. You’d get a more accurate result if you see a doctor

Oh yes it’s definitely possible, it’s happened to me a few times, and I tested despite no symptoms just in case. As you have symptoms then it’s possible it’s just not severe enough to be picked up on a test though. A PCR test is most accurate above a lateral flow but I don’t know if those are even available anymore.
