My family is all testing positive for covid and I have the same symptoms but I've tested negative 4 times in 3 days. Is it possible somehow they got covid and I just got a bad cold? I know this virus still doesn't make a lot of sense.

It could be. You might just not have covid, Also could be that the test isn’t showing it. You’d get a more accurate result if you see a doctor

Oh yes it’s definitely possible, it’s happened to me a few times, and I tested despite no symptoms just in case. As you have symptoms then it’s possible it’s just not severe enough to be picked up on a test though. A PCR test is most accurate above a lateral flow but I don’t know if those are even available anymore.

Could be too early/too late to test, test-operator error, or a bad batch of tests if you're using different ones from the others that are all together It's really unlikely to have four false negatives unless the tests themselves physically cannot pick up the virus from those things.

I'd just say you have it if everyone around you has it and you have symptoms.

My sister said I developed herd immunity. Which I don't think makes any sense since I'm sick with the same symptoms.

But my brother just tested positive and I feel awful. And my "temp" is 98.9. Like I'm can't get out of bed kinda sick.

They're still studying covid but I read articles (reliable articles) that say some people do have varying immunities to the virus...

My wife has always tested negative for COVID even while I tested positive for over four days two years ago.

We are "opposite" blood types (O-neg vs A-pos), and she has autoimmune issues while my only immune system issue is allergic reactions to mold and dust.

Do you take Vitamin D?

Feel better. I recommend anti viral meds if your insurance covers it. It clears everything fast
