I was on the phone yet again with my GI doc's office today. I'm still nauseus. The nurse told me that maybe I could call the pharmacy I use and get them to look at my meds and see if there is an interaction that could be causing me to be ill. So I did and found out that almost all my psych meds one of the side effects is an upset tummy. So I called my pdoc's office and spoke with his nurse and she said she'd talk to him and see about getting me some phenergan. I told her I'm already taking that like candy and it's not working. I'm also taking Protonix because of my ulcer and it's not helping either. So she said she'd see if he had any other solutions. I think tomorrow I'm going to try taking my psych meds with some food because they don't say I can't take them without food so maybe I need to be taking them with food. I have to take the Protonix by itself and I have to take my antibiotic 1 hour before any dairy products and my Synthroid has be taken by itself also so I have to figure out how to space out my meds. Luckily I only have 1 more day left on my antibiotic. So now I know what is making my tummy upset I just don't know what to do about it because its not like I can just go without the meds ya know?

I take my Synthroid in the middle of the night when I get up to pee :-) if you wake at all during the night. That gets it out of the way of most things.

My asthma meds were bothering my tummy but now that I'm eating properly (enough fiber) and losing weight the asthma is easing too so I don't have to use the meds as often so the GERD and other GI problems have gone away.
