I just recently started Loestrin 24 FE birth control which is my first pack this month. I took it on the 29th of May which I did what my doctor had said too. But then I think I had messed up though. She said to take the first active pill on 4th day of my cycle. I did that I thought. But I mistakenly took it on the 3rd day of my cycle. Ok, now knowing that I started to take the active pills, on the 7th day of my bleeding, which was the end of it, I had unprotected sex. Which was 2nd of May. Then had sex once again on the 5th of May. I will be honest I haven't been taken it at the same time each day. But I have took the pill everyday without missing any. By the following days May 10th and until now, been noticing some things are not right. Feelings of pregnany. Which I will let you all know that I have been pregnant before but that previous pregnancy ended up as a early miscarriage. Until then I have been feeling the same as before. Bloating, mild cramps, mood swings, sore breasts, eating more than I should have, low backaches, headaches, all the stuff related to pregnancy. I don't know if this feeling is related to the pills or what..but I am tuned into my body. I'm not stressed out or worried about anything. I just want to know if its related to the pill or pregnancy? I have took all the active pills and I am on my 3rd placebo brown pills..still no period. So my questions are: 1) How long should I be on the pills to get my period? My last period was on the 26th of April. I have a regular 28-day cycle. 2) I was expecting my next period on either 23rd of the month or 24th of this month. Which I haven't even started.
I want to know because if I happened to be pregnant, I want to go to the doctor and get a good check-up, and for my doctor to examine me and keep an close out for anything. Due to my previous miscarriage. I go to the doctor this Wednesday. But I am wanting to know from you, if I should test or wait until I go to the doctor and if I have missed my period until then, ask my doctor to test me?

Yikes, tough call, I think it would be easier on you emtionally if you just go to the drug store and take a test. Then you'll know and either be relieved or you'll have a new problem to think about.
