very problematic 16 year old he had made up lies that have caused major problems all to manipulate myself or others. If anyone has a similar problem please respond and I will go further into detail, but rest assured this is not just a minor issue its beyond terrible teenager behavior.

Mine doesn't talk so he can't lie. I have worked with a bunch of teen foster kids that have lied about everything from where they were that day to being abused by their foster parents to being/getting someone pregnant.

I don't have a teenager, but would therapy be an appropriate option? It sounds like there much be some driving force behind the behavior.

Having a kid like that is very frustrating. What else does he do ?
