it could be nothing
i had unprotected sex and he came in me a couple of times three days ago. my periods are irregular and i dont keep track of them, but im estimateing i came off my period a week before having sex with him, give or take. what are the chances of me becoming pregnant, and when can I do a test, in a few weeks time? I have been sick today, which could be not related to this but seems odd. I've been feeling odd - suddenly hot and shakey for split seconds and then fine.

Any advice would be great x

There's a 24 hour window of opportunity for an egg to be implanted so I'd be more worried about sexually transmitted disease than pregnancy.

Not a doctor, but yes of course you could get pregnant. and definitely get tested for std's too. i'm impulsive and have made these sort of mistakes many times over.

It depends on how long your cycle is and when you ovulate. Women with shorter cycles can get pregnant pretty soon after their period, if you have a longer cycle you tend to have a few days "grace period". The first day of your cycle is the first day of your period. Most women ovulate sometime between day 12 and day 22 depending on length.

I would just think about the longest time you've ever had between periods and watch for pregnancy signs. Good luck!

I had the sex on the 16th, and today is the 3rd. Still no sign of period though its due today or tomorrow - i start at the beginning of every month. i had a negitive test a week ago though i know it was too early to test. my boobs are incredibly sore and im always bloated though this could be my period. any advice would be great.

If it's been a week then in 2 days or so take another one.
Question is you seem so concerned. Is it because you are excited or fearful this person wouldn't be there for you if you were pregnant?

Either way keep posting, we care about your well being.

Go to the doctor for a consultation. We can give you our opinions but it's not like we are really professionals. The EPT test is very accurate but get a blood test A's well to confirm. Not sure if you want to be pregnant or not but mat want to consider birth control such A's the pill plus condoms to lessen STDs. It's probably a scary time for you and I feel for you, having been there myself. Do act in a timely manner so you can make the healthiest decision possible, if need to. Connect with a gyn soon and establish a working relationship. Lastly, try to limit unprotected sex. It is hard to do in the moment and I am no angel on this matter. Just passing on what has been helpful to me. Good luck and try not to beat yourself up!
Warmly,
