As a parent are you able to give each of your children everything equally, food, clothing, TIME, and LOVE, etc., or do you try to give them what they need, so that they can grow into healthy happy adults? Does each child have different?

Also, if you are in therapy, your child is in therapy, or in family therapy, do you expect the therapist to meet your needs or do you feel what he/she gives should be predicated on what she/he may give or not give to other clients?

I've been wondering about the parallels, and interceptions of parent - child, and therapist - client relationships.
