Hello everyone.
I just joined and hope I am in the right forum. Before I ask my question, I need to know if this thread will show up elsewhere on the web, say in a google search, etc. If so, I need to be careful about identifiers as it would be real bad should the party see this, really might hurt the party.

sorry, but yes this can be found on the web if certain search words are used, best way if you do not want identifying is not to use real names in posts, change a few details like ages, dates etc and never give identifying info about your location eg, don't say things like where you have been or what you have seen. remember even if you only put one identifier in each post someone could piece together your location by reading many of your posts e.g post 1.. the planes are driving me crazy, saays you live within a few miles of an airport, post 2.. had lunch by the Dianna fountain, says you are in London, so instantly by reading 2 posts the reader knows you are probably located near London city airport or luton, not America, also writing styles can give a good indication to who you are to people who know you, don't use sayings that you use all the time, e.g a scot may say ay instead of yes, you can guess a location by the words used e.g. North East England - pet (an affectionate term for someone) where the south west say 'me lover' meaning the same as 'pet' in the north east so keep terms universal like 'sweetie'

hope this helps.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
