Can somebody please give some ideas on how to cope with ADHD/ADD kids? Sometimes I notice that no matter what I say they just dont respond.

Hi! You might try asking in the ADHD forum here. Maybe they can give you some pointers from personal experience.

I have a child with ADHD as well and it is difficult. One thing is make sure you have their attention before you start talking and then keep it short and simple. The ADDitude website has some good information.

One thing my 7 year old daughter's therapist did that helped a lot was she told her whenever her mind gets going too fast, she needs to close her eyes and picture a stop sign and just take a few deep breaths to calm down. This has helped a LOT with her non-stop talking so fast that nobody can understand her. When she gets going too fast I just tell her to use her stop sign and she closes her eyes and calms down a little. Hope it helps some. Other than that, I'm still trying to figure this all out too lol.
