Is there anyone else out there with a young teen with schizophrenia? She is now in the hospital for the third time. Feeling alone in the world dealing with this.

Am so sorry you and your daughter are struggling so.
I have no words of wisdome or anything to compare this to.
You might try posting in the Schizophrenia & Phychosis forum.
It gets a lot more traffic, where as this one can get overlooked.
Have you tried any local support groups in your area.
Wishing you & your daughter only the best.

We live in a very rural area. She just came out of hospital tonight (2 hours away). Yea, I have been on the schizo site and get alot of advice from those with schizophrenia but none from parents of young adults. Very frustrating.

Thank you for replying tho

you should search youtube, there is a great documentary about two girls w/sz ages 13 and 14, and lots of really good videos by parents about their children!

Glad to know she's home & hopefully more stable.
Since you're rural is she going to get any aftercare,
that's closer to your home or any home visit's?'
A day program would be good if closer to you.
So sorry I can't offer more, can't imagine your situation.
Use this thread to post updates, sometimes it helps to just write things down.
Take care of *you* as well in this journey.
